image of Laura KatzWhile it's still early in the season, a couple of well-managed labels have already offered up some stiff competition.

Creative use of one's roster has put Fetzmonger's Deadeye Records in the lead, followed by Stevemoose's Glastonbury3, who we remember from the top 3 in last season's game. Right now, the margin between the two labels is so minute, either one could take the lead at any time. Players wanting to close in on these guys may want to sneak a peek at their stellar rosters.

A couple of artists made some incredible headway in the charts this week. Justin Timberlake is the new man of the hour, coming in at #1 on CHR, and #5 on Hot AC. His awesome performance on the charts earned him 5 bonuses, and a very respectable 139% increase in total revenue.

Kenny Chesney is at #2 on the Country chart, and experienced a huge jump in his total revenue...a whopping 684%! Not surprisingly, John Mayer is rising to the top of the charts, climbing 10 spots this week, bringing him up to #3 on Hot AC.

Some new faces have made their way onto our charts this week: Plain White T's, and OK Go have both burst onto the Alternative scene, and Taylor Swift is a newcomer to the Country chart. Don't foget, signing a debut artist before the trading deadline of Monday noon pt and keeping them for two weeks will earn your label a Debut Artist Bonus of $250,000.

There are some really impressive labels out there...keep up the good work.
