image of Laura KatzJust when you thought there was a new sheriff in town, our old friends Gnarls Barkley and the Red Hot Chili Peppers have come back on the scene better than ever.

Gnarls is our new #1 in Alternative this week, My Chemical Romance held on tight to its #2 spot, and the Peppers came in at #3 after a giant 12-point surge in their stats, and an 85% boost in revenue.

We were almost waving a tearful 'bye-bye' to The Raconteurs last week with their #20 spot on the charts. But happily, the "Broken Boy Soldiers" have regained their foothold, rising up 11 spots to hit #9.

7 was a lucky number for 30 Seconds To Mars and Say Anything - both bands jumped up that many spots to hit #6 and #7 respectively.

Nickelback has taken over the #2 spot on our CHR charts this week, which has made room for newcomers Mario Vazquez of American Idol fame, and pop singer Vanessa Hudgens. They both score debut bonusues of $250,000 each for their initial visit to our charts. Girl-group Danity Kane also made its way back to the ranks at #15, bringing with it an 81% increase in revenue.

Sugarland is the major mover in Country, leaping up 10 spots to land at #6, Jason Aldean is the #2 man, and Emerson Drive has slowly inched its way up to #4, earning a top 5 bonus of $100,000. Lonestar and Craig Morgan have both re-emerged on our charts this week - we'll see if they're here to stay.

All's quiet on the Hot AC front this week. Nickelback's made a few ripples with their takeover of the #2 position, and Rascal Flatts rose up 6 spots to hit #9.

Our top 5 Urban artists might need a mirror held up to their faces - they have not moved in weeks. This group includes Justin Timberlake, Beyonce Knowles, Ludacris, Birdman & Lil' Wayne, and last but not least, Diddy. One Chance has made it's debut this week, and T.I., Lyfe Jennings, Monica, and Rick Ross have come back to the party after stepping out for some air.

Next week is our last round of the FML season, and I would like to take this time to wish all of you moguls out there the best of luck. You've all played very well. And don't forget, a brand spanking new season is just around the corner, so take what you've learned and turn it into something worthwhile... cool stuff.

p.s. we've got our super-special year-end shows for you in the coming weeks, so be sure to keep 'em peeled.
