Our NMC artists continue to make big waves (and earn lots of revenue) as our competition gets closer to the finish line, with many of them coming from the hit show "American Idol."

In fact, Carrie Underwood, Daughtry, Bucky Covington and Elliott Yamin are all on this week's eTracks charts, with Carrie Underwood and Daughtry topping the ranks for weeks now. With the newest batch of Idol grads hitting the scene, I have a feeling our charts will be making some room for them too.

Speaking of which, Linkin Park made a huge splash on the Alternative chart this week at #1 with the hit single
"What I've Done," knocking former #1 title-holder Nine Inch Nails down to the #2 spot, and taking in a $750,000 bonus to boot.

Fall Out Boy slipped a notch to #3 with "Thnks Fr Th Mmrs," and Peter Bjorn and John hit big with a 13-spot jump to #4.

Satellite Party and The Fratellis each got a healthy boost this week. Perry Farrell's new band climbed up 6 spots with "Wish Upon a Dog Star," and The Fratellisinched up 7 with the single "Flathead."

Avril Lavigne's back on top of CHR with "Girlfriend," followed by Carrie Underwood at #2 with "Before He Cheats" and Daughtry at #3 with American Idol anthem "Home." Linkin Park's doing double duty at #4, and Pink climbed up 4 spots to make it into this week's top 5 with "U + Ur Hand."

CHR saw some big movers this week; Maroon 5 shot up 12 spots, landing at #6 with "Makes Me Wonder," Hinder climbed up 11 with "Better Than Me," and American Idol's Elliott Yamin made a strong NMC debut at #8 with "Wait For You."

Our Country charts took a big turn this week: another
Idol alum, Bucky Covington, has hit #1 with "A Different World," earning $550,000 in bonuses. Tim McGraw had a good week - the star jumped up a whopping 16 spots to hit #2 with his single "Last Dollar" and took in $300,000 in bonus money. Billy Currington, Rascal Flatts and Eric Church fall in line right behind them, rounding out this week's top 5.

Hot AC is full of two-timers this week. Avril Lavigne is on top once more for her smash hit "Girlfriend." Linkin Park is also at it again - "What I've Done" is doing triple duty on this week's charts. Carrie Underwood is at #3 with "Before He Cheats," with Daughtry coming in at #4 for "It's Not Over." And finally, "If Everyone Cared" brings Nickelback into 5th place.

Beyonce Knowles is back in favor on the Urban charts - the "Get Me Bodied" star is at #1 this week. Fergie is still her "Glamorous" self at #2, with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony at #3 with "I Tried." Robin Thicke slipped 2 spots to #4, and bad boy Akon rounds out the top 5 with "Don't Matter."

And let's give a warm welcome to Lil Mama, who has made her debut on to the NMC eTracks charts at #19 with "Lip Gloss."

Our Open League standings are getting even closer. Check out the top labels for some hints on how to make your label a winner (they're doing something right)!

Until next time...happy playing!
