image of Dean TsouvalasOnce again, an interesting week here inside the FML: Gwen Stefani is groped by lotsa FML playas, Joe Nichols explains why, 'she only smokes when she drinks', while the Bravery does it all and we look at the race for the finish in the Open League and why you're not going to win. Read on to find out why.

You Look Mahvelous
Gwen Stefani continues to turn up the juice on the FML and on TV as she is the musical guest on Saturday Night Live followed by additional appearances on the morning show circuit. In addition Stefani is certified Platinum status, destined for Diamond rank in weeks. For the third week in a row, Stefani remains the most widely held artist, ahead of U2 and Green Day. As if that is not enough, labels with 'no doubt' to sign Stefani found she also generated over $1.2 million over last week. Meanwhile on SNL Ashton Kutcher plays host and who knows, maybe Demi will show up,pregnant...

She Only Smokes When She Drinks
One of Country's hottest stars Joe Nichols makes an impressive mark on this week's FML. In our opinion, anyone who writes a song titled 'She only smokes when she drinks' has gotta be pretty cool. And labels with this hunky country crooner agree because he generated the most green during the past week, to the tune of $1.5 million. His current single is the inspirational ballad 'If nobody believed in you' from the new hit record, Revelation.

It's Anyone's Game
Since the top 20 ranked labels win prizes our leaders know it is still anyone's game. Granada 2: Electric Boogaloo and Rivers739 swap top spots this week while 8 Track Wax remains number three. Looks like JBO Records, Polypam International, and others separated by a few bucks have some decisions to make in anticipation of Diamond status in two weeks. To jump ahead of the leaders you folks must take some risk, for with great risk comes a funky new iPod... Hey Kakun Records we're talking to you, you must mix it up, just holding onto your artists for incremental cash won't give you bragging rights. Our motivational Nietzche quote for the day " The secret of reaping the greatest fruitfulness and the greatest enjoyment of life is to live dangerously."

An Honest Mistake
Alternative electronic band Bravery makes their debut on the FML with the upcoming release of their self-titled album. They are into the DiY (do it yourself) work ethic, meaning they make the records, the artwork, the videos everything. Singer and guitarist Sam Endicott recently said, "The name is also connected with living in New York in this really weird time. People are constantly waiting for something bad to happen. I wrote these songs and formed this band to make sure I didn't get overcome by that sense of fear. That's what this band is about--standing tall and not being afraid." We dig that, but will the labels be 'brave enough' to buy them? Amerie, Brooke Valentine and Frankie J. are all also debuting on the FML.

The Big House
The 29-year-old eye candy to the late Notorious B.I.G, rap diva Lil' Kim was convicted of lying to federal grand jury to protect friends. At the same radio station where 50 Cent and The Game mixed it up, Lil Kim testified that she did not notice her friends at the scene of the 2001 shootout but pictures proved contrary. She faces up to 20 years in prison.
