WK 10: Relearn Love
And the Winner is...Next Week
BOSTON, MA Saturday Dec.10.2005 /FantasyMusicLeague.com/ -- Unwrapping the FML Insider: You'll never guess which heartthrob thought he looked like 'the fat Elvis,' check out the amazing, new prizes being awarded next week, tips to find your inner 'doll, and why 500 bucks wins the game.
The Great Divide
This week former front man of Creed, Scott Stapp makes his solo debut on the FML. Last year we saw the tumultuous break up of the successful Christian rock band. The other members of the band went on to form Alter Bridge. Before the break up, Scott Stapp says he was taking anti-inflammatory medication, Prednisone while on tour, and it "bloated me up like a beached whale. I looked like fat Elvis Presley." However with his solo release Stapp can't seem to escape drama. Over Thanksgiving he got into a bit of a braw with hip-hop group 311. Regardless of the gossip, Stapp proves his solo power with his new disc, The Great Divide and recent single Relearn Love. Jack's Mannequin an alternative band are also making their FML debut.

There is less than $500 separating the top two labels in the Open league. Amarpan and Fetzmonger are battling out for the top spot, but you can't count out GLP Records. It's a close game with all eyes on next week.
Find Your Inner 'Doll'
The Pussycat Dolls are the epitome of eye and ear candy. The Dolls are currently riding high with the hit single Stickwitu, the second hit single from their debut disc. This week the sexy sextets who preach self-empowerment while strutting their best burlesque saw the biggest revenue increase by almost 400 percent for the labels who bought them. There are plans for a Dolls perfume, a line of clothing and lingerie, a makeup line and a reality-style TV project. There's even a Pussycat Dolls Lounge in Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, featuring another group of women dancing and singing. All this is part of what the group calls "the Pussycat Dolls movement."
The hottest gift next season is the Video iPod. And if you are the top winner in next season's FML you will actually win a Video iPod. Be the envy of everyone in 'hood. If you haven't checked out the other cool, new and expanding list of prizes.
FYI, our Fall Season comes to a close next week, December 16th. Weeks 12 and 13 will be the 2005 Net Music Countdown and eTrack Top 40 Countdown. So make your move and go for the big prize.
As we look at the snow on the ground we are reminded that it's time to register for the Winter Season of the FML. Open League registration cost only $10 per label. There has never been a better time to prove your love of music and business savvy. There is nothing like the FML anywhere in the universe.
